Temporal parting

We will be hiding out temporarily for the next few months, finishing recordings, changing the lineup, adding members, having summer backyard parties, hikes, road trips, etc. We will continue to post music on the blog in the meantime.

Above is an explosive performance of the song "Genetic Engineering" by one of my favorite bands, Orchestral Manoeuvres in the Dark. I rediscovered the album Dazzle Ships last year and have been obsessing over it more and more as time goes on. It's become detrimental to my health.

We quickly began working on songs but unfortunately only played one show. I think it happened somewhere in Pomona with Halloween Swim Team. I will be making my debut under the moniker of Dead Twin on Saturday, Feb 21 at the Orange County Center for Contemporary Art. Sean from Portland's DWL is on tour with a new band called Imra and was nice enough to ask me to contribute a performance to an already amazing night. Apparently, even Mitchell Brown might be performing. It looks like it's going to be an amazing and busy night!
